Growing Together

Growing Together: A Parent Learning Series

Growing Together: A Parent Learning Series is a program designed specifically for NCDSA families of school-aged children. Our Education and Inclusion Specialist designed this series around the most asked questions and challenges we hear about from families like yours. This series covers the topics of parent rights, behavior, communication, and community supports.

Each month, we’ll offer a one-hour virtual information session around a hot topic, followed by a one-hour in-person meetup where you can ask questions, get extra one-on-one help, and dive deeper into the topic with things like make-and-take tools. Along the way, we’ll have guest speakers share their expertise with you.

Come to one session or all of them! We suggest you attend the info session followed by the in-person session each month, but we’ve designed the program so you’ll benefit from any session by itself. Register for each session using our Calendar & Event Registration page. Sessions are offered from October through June.
